Dambare Sherpa (Tour and Trekking Guide)

Dambare Sherpa, 46, was born in Solukhumbu, the home of Mount Everest and the land of the world-renown Sherpas. After completing his basic education, Dambare Sherpa has followed his childhood dream of working in the trekking business.

He has taken Trekking Guide Training and Advanced Mountaineering Courses conducted by the Nepal Mountaineering Association, and has successfully climbed Mera Peak, Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, Pachermo Peak, Yala Peak, Ganchhenpo Peak, Naya Kanga Peak and Mt. Everest South Col, all between the years of 1991 and 2001.

In the 18 years Dambare Sherpa has worked with Volunteer Society Treks Nepal as senior mountaineer, he has led expeditions and trekking groups to all trekking destinations in Nepal, Tibet and India. His delightful nature, warm smile, honesty, helpfulness and charming personality have captured the hearts of many who have trekked with him over the years.

Shiva Kumar Rai (Tour and Trekking Guide)

Shiva has been working as a Trekking and Climbing guide for 17 years. He is mainly active in rock climbing and peak climbing activities. He has been to all the major trekking destinations like Mustang, Annapurna, Everest, Makalu, Kanchanjunga, Manasalu, Dolpo trek, Tibet and India. He has climbed Island Peak 6160m,Yala Peak 5732m and Thorong peak 5821m.

 

Sange Sherpa (Trekking Guide)

Sange Sherpa is from Dolkha District, he has been working as a Trekking and Climbing guide for 15 years. He has been to all the major trekking destinations like Mustang, Langtang, Helambu, Annapurna, Everest, Makalu, Kanchanjunga, Manasalu, Dolpo trek, Tibet and India. He has climbed Cho-you 8201m, Mera Peak 6654m, Island Peak 6160m, Yala Peak 5732m, and Thorong peak 5821m.

Ongje Sherpa (Trekking Guide)

Ongje Sherpa is also from Dolkha, Gaurishakhar. He has been working as a Trekking and Climbing guide for 12 years. He has been to all the major trekking destinations.

Ongje has many years of experience leading groups to the Everest Base Camp, the Annapurna Circuit, Mustang, K2 North Advanced Camp, and Mount Kailash in Tibet.  After guiding more than 20 groups on the Kailash Pilgrimage, he has earned his reputation as one of the most kind, friendly and experienced guides in the region. Ongje’s hospitable nature has justly earned him fame amongst the many guides in the Himalayas.

Dendi Sherpa ( Trekking Guide)

Dendi Sherpa was born and raised in Nurbu, a village in the Sankhuwasabha District close to mighty Mt. Makalu (8,485m). Growing up with Makalu pretty much in his backyard, Dendi developed a strong connection with this mighty mountain, the fifth highest mountain in the world. His climbing endeavors began in 2001 with Naya Kanga Peak (5,846m), in the Indian Himalayas near the famous K2. He has successfully climbed K2 (8,611m), Everest North and South Face, Shishapangma (8,027m), Annapurna IV, Ama Dablam, Chulu Peak, Island Peak, Mera Peak and Naya Kanga Peak.

Dendi has taken advanced mountaineering courses conducted by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), and has been leading Volunteer Society Treks Nepal groups as a senior team leader and climber for the past 6 years.

Gopal Rai (Trekking Guide | Trekking Leader)

He is from Dhading District and has been working as a trekking guide in Nepal since 2000. In his professional trekking career, he has successfully climbed several peaks including Island peak.

Gopal shines throughout the major destinations of Nepal like Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and Upper Mustang Regions. He takes both pride and pleasure in offering excellent service to our guests and is very competent and courteous. We have no hesitation in saying he can provide good guidance every moment throughout your entire traveling experience in Nepal. He has completed first aid training and altitude sickness training. As a field trek escort, he always stays focused on travelers’ satisfaction. He holds a government tourism license.

Jabar Rai (Trekking Guide | Trekking Leader)

Jabar Rai is the trekking guide in Nepal that you would love to travel with. Jabar  Rai loves his profession as trekking leader and always tries to help others. Starting his career in 2004, he has now got a lot of experience trekking in Nepal. He is from Everest region, but has also travelled to Dubai and Kyrgyzstan. He can well communicate in Nepali, English and Rai language. He can act according to the situation and is known for his good problem solving capacity.
